Distinguished parapsychological researcher Erlendur Haraldsson, Ph.D., of the University of Iceland, has investigated children's past-life memories over the years. Come listen to the presentation of the results of this fascinating and profound research! Children are sometimes found, particularly in Asia, claiming to have memories of a past life. They usually start to speak about these memories at a very early age, around two or three, and do so repeatedly and consistently until around the time they start school. Analysis of the contents of their memories reveal interesting trends and features, such as expressing a wish to find and return to their previous family and describing how they died previously, usually at a young age and most recently. Attempts to verify their past-life accounts have had a degree of success, and Dr. Haraldsson presents intriguing cases from Iceland, Lebanon, and Sri Lanka. Dr. ERLENDUR HARALDSSON is a Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Social Science at the University of Iceland, who continues to be an active academic in retirement. He worked with J.B. Rhine while in the United States, and with Ian Stevenson and Karlis Osis in researching reincarnation, and has published work in various parapsychology journals. Dr. Haraldsson lectures around the world on his work with children and reincarnation, deathbed visions, and visitations from the afterlife, among many other topics, and is the author of At the Hour of Death and Modern Miracles: An Investigative Report on Psychic Phenomena associated with Sri Sathya Sai Baba (also published as Miracles are My Visiting Cards). |
